I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sandy Toes Bed & Breakfast, which was a bit off the beaten path but ultimately worth the drive. Situated near the old Capricorn Resort, it's just a short stroll to a private, sandy beach that offers views back to Yeppoon. The accommodation itself is impressive, offering a generous space with a separate bedroom, lounge area, and a well-equipped kitchen complete with cookware and dining essentials. the bed was comfortable and warm, and the place was impeccably clean. The added touch of being provided with free toiletries and tea and coffee facilities made the stay enjoyable. While the lack of nearby shops prompted us to venture back into town for dinner, it was a quick drive-once you know the way. The continental breakfast was thoughtful, featuring pastries, jams, and even a delightful decanter of port. Sandy Toes strikes a balance of luxury and value, particularly for families wanting a spacious retreat. If you're weighing options on where to stay, I'd recommend considering Sandy Toes for a longer visit to truly soak in the experience.
